Boys & Their Toys

This editorial, part of Armour Magazine’s thirty fourth season, explores the humor in how grown men often carry their childhood interests into adulthood. It plays with the idea that many men still love things like Legos, drones, and gadgets that are essentially childhood fascinations transformed into adult hobbies. To highlight this contrast, the styling draws from classic menswear, with suits inspired by vintage Ralph Lauren and Giorgio Armani, both known for their strong and traditional masculine look. These polished outfits are paired with playful toys such as teddy bears, dolls, and figurines, exaggerating the tension between adult identity and childlike joys.

I styled the models in oversized suits to capture the feeling of children trying to step into adulthood, as if they are presenting themselves as men while still holding on to their youthful interests. Visually, I focused on blending tones and textures to create a warm and vintage suiting look.
